The Power of Personal Invitation

I recently heard a statistic from another pastor in our area: 82% of people who were asked said they would attend a church service on Easter if invited. Think about that. Over 8 out of 10 people would attend church on Easter if simply asked. That number might drop for a regular Sunday, but I bet it is still pretty good.

Friends, be invitational this Easter season. Do we believe in the gospel that is proclaimed every week at the Bible church? Do we believe God can save people right in our services and/or in the seeds planted in those services? Maybe people need to come to your small group first? Maybe someone  needs you to start reading the Bible with them, perhaps a gospel like Mark or John? Just ask. Invite.

All you have to do is ask. The worst that could happen is they say no, and they’ll probably say it politely.

You have inspired me to reach out to my neighbors and will put in their mailboxes the insert HE IS RISEN with note from us, and on back will be THE LEGEND OF THE DOGWOOD which is very interesting at this tim eof the year as the dogwood are FULL bloom and look like snow.
